How long is a typical holiday caroling booking?
Most engagements are between 30 mins and 1 hour. But we are happy to perform for as long or short as you need singers (up to 4 hours). Any performance over an hour long will include breaks for our musicians.
What type of events does Good Tidings do?
We are now booking for the 2024/2025 Holiday Season. Parties, tree lightings, senior living, shopping entertainment... Evenings, weekends, mornings. We have a variety of carolers with flexibility, so let us know about your event!
How much do you charge?
Cost is dependent on a variety of factors: how many carolers you'd like, the location of your event, and the duration of the performance. Reach out today and we can give you a quote!
What kind of repertoire does Good Tidings perform?
Our repertoire includes a variety of holiday songs and carols - sacred and secular, old and new. If you have any specific requests, please let us know upon booking... We can also take requests during the performance if we have those songs in our book.
Will Good Tidings Carolers travel for a performance?
We are local to the metro-Detroit area and happy to travel to your event. Any gig that is greater than 30 miles for our performers will require an additional stipend for time and gas.
What kind of training do your musicians have?
All of our carol singers are professional musicians with stage and choral experience. Most have college degrees in music or performance and all perform professionally in the region in many various performance groups. See our About Us page for more.
What do your carolers wear for performances?
We specialize in an aesthetic and sound that is professional and chic with a holiday flair. We offer 3 options: a 'dressy indoor look,' 'cozy sweater,' and a 'professional outdoor look.'
